The motocross track at Lake Elsinore closed in November 2024. Jason Baker and Bryan Wallace took it on, and it now runs as Lake Elsinore Raceway on Cereal Street. Most of their first six months went to cleaning up the land and getting it compliant before anyone could ride. By early 2026 the gates were opening on a regular schedule.
Today there are beginner, youth and main tracks. Saturday big-bike practice runs from 9 to 2, and main-track and family days are $45 pre-registered or $50 at the gate. In January the city council voted unanimously for an action sports growth plan running to 2040, with the stated goal of branding Lake Elsinore the action sports capital of the world.
02 / The take
What gets us is the order of operations. No grand opening, no rendering of a stadium. Two riders, six months of dirt work and paperwork, and then the gate drops again on a track that already had a history. The city's plan came after the riders did.
Visually it is the Inland Empire at its most honest: brown hills, a lakebed, a hand-built berm, fresh water on the dirt at sunrise, exhaust hanging in still air. Nothing about it is styled, and that is the point.

It is the self-organized culture we come from. Nobody asked permission to build the scene, they just kept showing up. That spirit sits under everything we print, from the cut-out type of RANSOM to the speed lines in our race pieces.
