The Silhouette
A red-tailed hawk perched on top of a surfboard fin, tail fanned in rust red, staring down the break. It has been sitting there since dawn patrol and it is not giving up the spot.
The Architecture
Dark Green board shorts, 100% polyester, extra light at 3.2 oz: it dries on the walk home. Elastic waistband with a black drawstring, two side-seam pockets, regular fit, board-short length.
The Accent
The red diamond crown mark on the left thigh and red inside both pockets. The animal and the mark are printed into the fabric, so neither will crack or peel.
